I have been flooded with emails in the time I was away! Most were some great questions that I will be answering in this post.

How old is Jolly now?
Jolly is turning two this coming Spring.
Is he for sale?
For all the people emailing me on my youtube & blog email - No he is not.
Are you planning on keeping him a stud?
No. The only reason he still remains one is due to his right testicle has not dropped.
How old was Jolly when you bought him?
Jolly was about 6-7 months when I finally purchased him.
When are you ridding him?
Jolly had his first ride this past Saturday with a trainer, it will be a month or so before I personally get on.
Are you going to update soon?
Haha, yes! I was so busy with the holidays & my birthday that I had no time to update. I will start posting two - four posts a week.

Kara is a seventeen year old girl with a passion for horses. She has been riding English hunters for eight years and believes in Natural Horsemanship. She tries to work every day/weekend at Cane Creek Farm, training her two year old- Jolly. Duensing says "He's like my best friend. I don't ask him to do anything for me unless we're both are in it together". She now also works with her new colt Duncan. He's only a couple months old but she believes in starting them early as can be with human interaction! Come along on her journey with her horses: Single Barrel Scotch aka "Jolly" and Jewels Smokin Dun aka "Duncan"!

Single Barrel Scotch (Jolly)
2007 AQHA gelding out of Step Backin Time and My Pud N Starrs. He's a very quiet and lovable guy! He loves getting patted and rubbed on and is a very humorous! He's bay with a star and a sock on his front left. He's a real 'people's' horse, he comes right up to you to see if you happen to be hiding any goodies.
Jewels Smokin Dun (Duncan)
2009 AQHA colt out of Skippas Dun Smokin and Miss Four Freckle. At the moment he's still with his mom, but I'll be working with him as soon as he is weaned! His coat at the moment is a dun color but will develop into grullo. He's a very sweet and curious little guy!
